Why we use it — We use your details to respond to your enquiry, discuss your requirements and, if you choose to work with us, to provide our services. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries, or taking steps at your request before entering into a contract.
We will not sell your information or use it for unrelated marketing.
Who we share it with — We use trusted service providers to run our website and email, currently Framer and Google Workspace. They process data on our behalf under appropriate data protection terms. Where data is transferred outside the UK, it is protected by recognised safeguards.
How long we keep it — We keep enquiry details for up to 2 years if no work follows. If we work together, we keep business records for as long as required for legal and accounting purposes, typically 6 years.
Your rights — You can ask to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you, or object to how we use it. To do so, email fred@sambroengineering.co.uk.
